8Competition Rules:
8.1Chess
(1) Before the game starts, both sides set up their pieces.
(2) During the game, the first move is decided by rock-paper-scissors, and then both sides take turns to move one step.
(3) When it is a player's turn, moving a piece from one intersection to another or capturing the opponent's piece to occupy that intersection counts as one move.
(4) Each side taking one turn is called a round.
(5) When making a move, if the player's piece can move to a position occupied by the opponent's piece, they can capture the opponent's piece and occupy that position.
(6) Winning Determination: If one side's piece attacks the opponent's king and is set to capture it on the next move, it is called "check" or simply "check." "Check" does not need to be declared. The side being "checked" must immediately respond by using their move to resolve the check status. If they cannot respond to the check, it is considered "checkmate" and they lose.
(7) The competition will be a knockout format, using a best of three system.

8.2Gobang
(1) Both sides will use pieces of one color.
(2) The game starts on an empty board, and rock-paper-scissors is used to decide who plays black first.
(3) Although black plays first, there are restrictions: black cannot form two "live threes" or "live fours" in one move or form a "long connection" (meaning forming more than five in a row in one move). White has no restrictions.
(4) Pieces are placed on the empty points of the board, and once placed, they cannot be moved to other points or removed from the board.
(5) The first black piece can be placed on any intersection on the board.
(6) Taking turns is the right of both sides, but either side may choose to forfeit their turn (i.e., PASS).
(7) Winning Determination: If either side has five pieces in a row (i.e., five in a row), whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, that side wins, and the game ends. (If the opponent forms a "dead four" (i.e., one end is not blocked by their pieces), the player should take defensive measures. Use their pieces to block the opponent's "dead four" at the unblocked end to ensure the opponent cannot form five in a row.)
(8) The competition will be a knockout format, using a best of three system.

8.3Table Tennis Singles
(1) Before the match starts, rock-paper-scissors is used to determine the serve right. The athlete who wins the choice can choose to serve first or choose the side.
(2) Serving is the starting point of the match. The serving side must stand on either side of their table, place the ball almost still in the palm of their hand, then toss the ball upwards (at least 16 cm), and hit the ball with the racket as it rises to the highest point and begins to fall. In doubles matches, the serve must be diagonal, i.e., from right to right or from left to left.
(3) In singles matches, each player serves alternately for two points, after which the serve changes hands. The match is usually played to 5 points, meaning the first player to reach 5 points wins, but must lead by at least 2 points. If the score reaches 5-5, the match continues until one player leads by 2 points.
(4) After every two games, players need to switch sides.
(5) Once the serve is in play, each player must hit the shuttlecock after it has bounced once, and during the hitting process, the racket must not touch the table.
(6) If a player fails to serve legally, fails to return the serve legally, blocks, or hits the shuttlecock twice in a row, they may be ruled in violation, resulting in a point or serve awarded to the opponent.
(7) The competition will be a knockout format, using a best of three system.
8.4Badminton Singles
(1) Badminton singles matches are played between two players, who stand at opposite diagonal positions on the court.
(2) Before the match starts, the serving side is determined by a rock-paper-scissors method.
(3) The server serves from their right side, and the serve must be made from below upwards, with the shuttlecock crossing the net and landing in the opponent's diagonal area.
(4) The receiving side must catch the shuttlecock served by the server, and the shuttlecock is considered legally received if it is within the receiving side's area.
(5) After receiving the shuttlecock, the receiving side can return it to the opponent's court, making it impossible for the opponent to catch it, or forcing the opponent to return it without being able to hit it back to their own court.
(6) During the match, players can continuously return the shuttlecock until one side makes an error or the shuttlecock goes out of bounds.
(7) If the serving side makes an error or the shuttlecock goes out of bounds, the receiving side scores and becomes the serving side.
(8) The match uses a scoring system, and the side with the higher score wins after each game. This match uses a 5-point system, where the first to reach 5 points and lead by at least 2 points wins. If both sides reach 5 points, the first to reach 5 points wins.
(9) During the match, each player has one opportunity to challenge, meaning they can request the referee to make a judgment when they believe the shuttlecock is out of bounds.
(10) The match is conducted as a knockout tournament, using a best of three games format.
